Shell has introduced a new type of fuel, V-Power, in Mauritius. This high-performance unleaded gasoline, developed in collaboration with the Formula 1 team Scuderia Ferrari, boasts specialized additives to cleanse and safeguard engines.

The launch event, held at the Caudan Arts Centre in Port Louis, was attended by Minister of Transport and Light Rail, Alan Ganoo.

Vivo Energy Mauritius, representing Shell, spearheaded the introduction. The fuel is available at 14 Shell service stations across the island at a price of Rs 79 per litre, that is Rs10 more expensive from the regular unleaded priced at Rs 69/litre.
