LPM’s Office Hit by Four Burglaries in One Week

Linion Pep Morisien’s (LPM) office in Rose-Hill experienced a string of four burglaries in just one week, with the most recent incident occurring on September 13.

The thieves took confidential documents, laptops, and sound equipment.

LPM member Dev Sunnasy expressed concerns about the repeated break-ins and noted that surveillance footage identified the same culprits responsible for all four incidents.

During a press conference on Saturday, September 16, Nando Bodha referred to the incidents as a “political burglary” allegedly orchestrated by “a desperate and autocratic state.”

According to the leader of the Rassemblement Mauricien, the culprits made off with two bags of documents related to the political strategy of Linion Pep Moris.

Bodha believes that these burglaries, which he claims were orchestrated by “political adversaries,” aimed at disrupting the party’s momentum.

Given the political nature of the documents, Bodha expressed hope that the investigation would be conducted thoroughly and concluded promptly.

The ongoing investigation is being led by the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Rose-Hill.
