Engen’s 120,000 barrels a day (b/d) Wentworth refinery, which has been an important source of product for the bunker market, is being converted into a storage and terminalling facility.

The proposed facility is expected to increase the storage of petroleum products and contribute to the authorities’ goal of developing the island into a petroleum hub. About 150 jobs are expected to be created through this project.

Ekium Amio Ltd has been commissioned to prepare an EIA Report on the project.
