Pfizer jabs now available in private clinics
Fourteen private clinics have started administering Pfizer’s ‘booster dose’ to those aged 40 and over as from Monday, January 17.
To Radio Plus, Dr Dawood Oaris, president of the association of private clinics, said arrangements are also being made for the vaccination of 12 to 17 year olds as from next week.
The move follows a decision by Cabinet on January 14, authorising private clinics to help in the vaccination programme.
Healthcare frontliners and high risk individuals would also be given Pfizer vaccine as a booster dose.
Johnson & Johnson jabs are also available, Dr Oaris said.
