Operators Invited to Seek Rs5 Diesel Reimbursement

Operators registered with the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) can now request reimbursement for the increase in diesel prices.

To qualify for financial assistance, operators must submit monthly declarations detailing their diesel consumption and be compliant with tax obligations and social contributions.

The MRA will credit payments directly to registered bank accounts.

Operators are advised to review instructions on the MRA website before submitting declarations.

The reimbursement measure was implemented after diesel prices increased from Rs 60 to Rs 63.95 per litre, with eligible operators receiving Rs 5 per litre.
