Duval demands Jagutpal’s resignation following PNQ on state of hospitals

The leader of the opposition, Xavier-Luc Duval, has called for Health Minister Kailesh Jagutpal’s resignation following his Private Notice Question (PNQ) on “hospital services and unsanitary conditions”, in Parliament on Tuesday.
During a press conference, Xavier-Luc Duval stated that the Internal Control Unit report from the Ministry of Health confirms the concerning state of the country’s hospitals.
The opposition leader further addressed the questions raised in his PNQ, as well as the report issued by the Ministry of Health department, which, according to him, indicates a deplorable situation within the hospitals.
Duval also criticised the lack of “Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point” in public hospitals.
