Labour Party MP Ehsan Juman Expelled from Parliament

Labour Party MP Ehsan Juman was expelled from the National Assembly on November 7, 2023.

The Speaker requested that Juman apologise for making an alleged misleading statement about Health Minister Kailesh Jagutpal meeting with members of religious bodies in the Committee Room of the National Assembly on October 31.

An internal investigation found that the Minister had used the conference room of the Ministry of Finance instead.

Juman attempted to clarify his remarks but was asked to leave the House when he didn’t apologise.
