Minority Shareholders Appeal Against Acquisition of Mauritius

Airport Holdings Limited’s acquisition of the national airline company faces an appeal by the Listed Companies Minority Shareholders’ Association.

In a press conference held on Friday, October 27, Raj Ramlugun, the association’s secretary, declared that they will not stay idle.

Ramlugun expressed that their objections were not appropriately addressed, and therefore, he has filed an appeal against the compulsory acquisition of their shares.

The former Air Mauritius employee, who failed to prove the acquisition’s injustice, had his case dismissed by the Supreme Court’s commercial division.
