Exec Under Scrutiny by Central CID

Chavan Dabeedin, Renewable Energy and Strategic Projects Manager at the CEB, is suspected of leaking information regarding the CorexSolar International Ltd case to the parliamentary opposition.

Dabeedin was one of four high-ranking CEB executives who initially advised against CorexSolar’s request to change the project site.

However, after the contract was awarded, the company faced challenges with the chosen location and proposed an alternative.

The Central Criminal Investigation Department is set to question Dabeedin about the leak, and Dabeedin’s associates have declined to comment on the matter.
