New Measure for Recruiting Indian Workers As from October 1

Starting from October 1, all procedures related to the recruitment of Indian workers will be conducted through the website https://www.nsdcjobx.com.

This change comes after bilateral consultations between Mauritius and India.

Both parties have agreed that the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Business Mauritius will collaborate in the recruitment of Indian labourers.

After the selection process, employers will need to apply for a work permit from the Ministry of Labour through the National Electronic Licensing System (NELS) platform.

The Ministry of Labour clarified that this measure applies to all sectors and categories of workers.
