Foreign Direct Investments from Mauritius to India Drop by 58.3%

Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) into India from Mauritius have witnessed a decline of 58.3% during the quarter ending in June 2023 compared to the corresponding period last year. The amount has decreased from $2.4 billion to $1 billion.

Overall, FDI into India has fallen by 34%. It reached $10.94 billion during the April-June period of this fiscal year. Data from the Indian government reveals that FDI inflows were at $16.59 billion between April and June 2022. FDI from the United Arab Emirates has seen a 76.2% decline, while FDI from Singapore has decreased by 47.4%.
