Massive Scam Exposed: Over 500 Victims in Canadian Job Fraud Case

Instances of fraud and scams related to immigration and employment opportunities in Canada are on the rise. Several complaints have been lodged with the Ministry of Labour against “Professional Job Recruiters Mauritius Limited”. This company, operating under the name “Work Global Canada” and based in Triolet, is allegedly soliciting money from Mauritians in exchange for job placements in Canada.

In a statement, the Ministry of Labour has warned the public that this agency does not have the necessary permits. It has urged victims to report the matter to the police.

Authorities suspect that this scam has affected at least 500 individuals. One of them is a 55-year-old woman – she disbursed Rs 1.6 million.
