31-year-old Chinese tourist follows 'Google Maps’, lands on Metro Express tracks

In a new incident that left onlookers in stitches, a 31-year-old Chinese tourist managed to land his car right onto the tracks of the Metro Express in Rose-Hill. The escapade unfolded on Thursday, and fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.

According to Defi Media, it was a Metro Express technician who promptly alerted the authorities.

When questioned by the police, the bewildered Chinese tourist claimed to have been following directions from the renowned navigation app, ‘Google Maps,’ in his quest to reach the Plaines-Wilhems region.

However, much to his surprise (and everyone else’s), he found himself wedged on the Metro Express tracks.

Thanks to the prompt response of the police and the assistance of some eager volunteers, the vehicle was safely removed from the railway tracks.

Though the incident caused some momentary disruption, it served as a reminder that relying solely on technology for navigation may not always lead us in the right direction.

As for our Chinese friend, he can now add a rather unusual travel tale to his collection of adventures.
