Ex-PM Dr Navin Ramgoolam tested positive for COVID-19

Former Prime Minister and Labour Party leader, Dr Navin Ramgoolam, has reportedly been tested positive for COVID-19.

According to media reports, the latter was admitted to the isolation ward of the Welkin clinic at around 2 p.m. on Friday, September 3.

He was reportedly suffering from a chronic cough and fever.

Dr Ramgoolam is en-route to India for medical emergency through a Charter flight.
