Precautionary Measure Against ex-PM Adviser

An Executive Engineer from the Central Water Authority (CWA) filed a precautionary measure against ex-Senior Adviser at the Prime Minister’s Office, Prakash Maunthrooa, currently the General Manager of CWA, at the Quartier-Militaire police station.
The engineer has accused the political nominee of using coercive practices, attempting to exert psychological pressure through his superiours and colleagues.
He claims to have faced recent transfers, including to the CWA’s St-Paul premises, and a few months ago when he was posted to Rose-Belle, causing him emotional distress.
The CWA technical executive is consulting legal counsel to escalate the matter to the Ministry of Labour.
