TikTok Recruits Mauritian Moderators

In a significant development, TikTok has enlisted Mauritian moderators.

The official aim is to prevent Creole content that violates the social media platform’s regulations from slipping through the cracks.

This announcement was made by the Minister of ICT and Innovation, Deepak Balgobin during the commencement of a seminar jointly organised by his ministry and TikTok.

The selection process and the identity of the Mauritian moderators were not disclosed.
