AfrAsia Bank Report Records Profits of Rs5.9 Billion

AfrAsia Bank has achieved outstanding financial performance, reporting record profits of Rs 5.9 billion for the fiscal year 2022-23.

The bank reportedly benefited from high benchmark rates, particularly on the dollar, which greatly contributed to its profitability.

Additionally, it demonstrated robust performance across all its business lines.

In an interview with Business Magazine, Thierry Vallet, the bank’s “Founder Executive”, reflected on AfrAsia’s journey, which began as an “entrepreneurial bank with the mission of being the financial bridge between Africa and Asia, as well as the rest of the world.”
