It’s Tax Filing Season in Mauritius for 2023/2024

The tax filing season for the fiscal year 2023-2024 commenced on August 29 and will continue until October 16. All individual taxpayers are encouraged to submit their tax returns electronically through the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) website.

Taxpayers encountering difficulties while completing their tax return, may seek assistance from an MRA agent via WhatsApp. The e-Appointment, available on the MRA website, allows taxpayers to schedule appointments at their convenience for assistance in filing their income tax returns via WhatsApp video calls.

Taxpayers may also use MyRA, a 24/7 virtual assistant on the MRA website designed to provide information and support to individual taxpayers as they navigate the process of completing their income tax returns.
