Scammers are becoming increasingly sophisticated, even using images of reputable companies like Amazon. The victims reported offers for roles like labor positions or remote work. A mother from Curepipe recounted her experience where a seemingly lucrative work-from-home offer turned out to be a scam. The scammers target various jobseekers and create false hope with enticing salaries for less demanding roles. This trend highlights the need for stronger legal measures against such fraudulent practices.
