Airport Holdings Ltd: Records Whopping Rs33.5 Billion Revenue

Airport Holdings Ltd, the state-owned company that owns Air Mauritius and other subsidiaries, reported a revenue of approximately Rs 33.5 billion for the financial year 2022/23, which ended on June 30. The company is finalizing its accounts, and audited accounts are expected to be published around mid-October. Operating profits are projected to be around Rs 2.5 billion.

For the first nine months of the financial year 2022/23, AHL had recorded a revenue of Rs 25.7 billion, with an operating profit of Rs 2.05 billion. Various subsidiaries, including Air Mauritius, reported profits during this period.

AHL was established to assist Air Mauritius in overcoming its voluntary administration situation, and its financial position has improved since. Air Mauritius has embarked on an aircraft purchase campaign to expand its operations and is set to receive new aircraft in the coming years.
