Tucked away on the secluded Indian Ocean island of Nosy Ankao, off coast Madagascar, lies Miavana, a hotel resort that epitomizes luxury and exclusivity. Opened in 2017, Miavana has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most prestigious island resorts in the Indian Ocean, catering to the world’s wealthiest elite – a high-flier hideaway for 1 percent of the 1 percent, including notable figures like Martha Stewart and Tom Cruise, writes Chris Schalkx of Travel + Leisure.
