11-year-old Indian tourist allegedly raped by skipper on Île aux Cerfs

An 11-year-old girl from India has accused a 21-year-old skipper of raping her during a vacation on Île aux Cerfs on Wednesday, June 7.

The suspect reportedly asked the girl to accompany him while her parents were a short distance away.

Despite her attempts to reach her mother, the suspect allegedly led her to a tent where he raped her. According to the girl’s account, he even slapped her when she tried to seek help.

After committing the crime, the suspect fled, leaving the girl on her own. She managed to reunite with her parents and shared her ordeal with them.

The suspect has been arrested and will be required to provide his version of events.
