The milestone of 8,500 wealthy people is expected to be exceeded in 2032. These are the main findings of the latest Africa Wealth Report published by Henley & Partners this week.
South Africa is far ahead of the list of the 10 richest countries in Africa in terms of wealthy residents.
Some key findings on Mauritius were:

The country is expected to experience 75% growth in its wealth over the next decade (until 2032). This will make it the fourth fastest growing country in the world in terms of percentage of millionaires, after Vietnam, India and New Zealand.
Mauritius is in second place, after the Seychelles, in the Top 20 of the best passports in Africa and 31st in the world.
