MCB lists 7.5 million new ordinary shares on SEM

The Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd (SEM) has approved the listing of up to 7,500,000 new ordinary shares of MCB Group Limited (MCBG) by way of a Capitalization Issue (in the context of a Scrip Dividend).

The Scrip Shares will be issued in relation to the ordinary dividend payable on or about the 21 December 2021.

The price of a Scrip Share will be calculated as the five-day volume-weighted average of the traded price of the Company’s ordinary share on the market, beginning with the first ex-dividend date, less a discount of 3%. A further communiqué informing the shareholders and the public of the Scrip Price will be issued by the Company on or about 26 November 2021.
