Iluxi is a new online platform that directly connects manufacturers in Mauritius to consumers through a Manufacturer to Consumer (M2C) model.

It was created by Arif Currimjee and Edgar Rosenberger to grow the textile sector in Mauritius by utilising a disruptive business model.

The platform sells high-end, sustainable fashion with modern designs that can be combined.

Its supply chain is shorter and more transparent than traditional models, resulting in quicker and cheaper delivery of products to European consumers.

Rosenberger invested €4m in the project with ten other investors, including local textile companies.

Iluxi.com has already launched, offering high-quality clothing at affordable prices.

It plans to prioritise product quality and modern design, with seasonal and monthly drops planned.

Close supplier relationships are also prioritised to respond to market needs.
