Ascencia CEO to Step Down After Nearly 10 Years 

Ascencia has announced that its CEO Mr. Frédéric Tyack, will step down from his position, effective December 31, 2023, “to pursue new challenges”.

Tyack will continue to support the company’s management team through a consultancy agreement until December 2024.

“During his nearly decade-long tenure, Mr. Tyack played a pivotal role in driving consistent growth and transforming the lifestyle landscape in Mauritius.

The Board extends its gratitude for his instrumental contributions to the company’s success and wishes him success in his future endeavours,” it said.

Simon Harel, a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst with prior experience as Asset Manager at Ascencia, will assume the role of CEO, effective January 2024.
