Dev Sunnasy and lawyer José Moirt are facing accusations of “perverting the course of justice.”

A police sergeant from the Rose-Hill Criminal Investigation Division filed a complaint alleging that, after Dev Sunnasy filed a burglary report in September, he and Moirt visited the police station on October 11th.

Surveillance footage shows Moirt talking to a detainee in the presence of an officer.

Following Moirt’s visit, the detainee stopped cooperating with the investigation.

The police suspect Moirt of obstructing justice and are calling for an inquiry.

Previously, Sunnasy reported multiple burglaries at their Rose-Hill premises, leading to the arrest of two suspects, Jean Sébastien Jordan Dig Dig and Kersley Babylone.

Moirt’s colleague, Mr. Rama Valayden, contends that the police are attempting to hinder the investigation and questions their approach.

Valayden insists that the suspects initiated the meeting and asserts that they have evidence, having also met with the suspects’ families.
