First Group of Pilgrims Stranded Amid Israel/Hamas Conflict Arrives in Mauritius

A group of 36 Mauritian pilgrims, who were stranded in Bethlehem due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas, is set to arrive in Mauritius this Saturday.

These pilgrims had flown from Ankara Airport in Turkey to Istanbul early Friday morning.

A first batch of 15 individuals left Istanbul last night and will land in Mauritius around noon.

The second group is scheduled to arrive in Mauritius on Monday. The group consists of 31 women, five men.
