Air Mauritius Scandal: Investigation into CEO Kučko’s Contracts

The recent suspension of Air Mauritius’ CEO Krešimir Kučko and CFO Jean Laval Ah Chip has triggered a probe into General Sales Agent (GSA) contracts signed by Kučko in recent months.

The Independent Commission against Corruption (ICAC) conducted a search at MK’s Head Office, focusing on deals related to marketing the airline, particularly in Europe.

The investigation will also scrutinize the connection between MK and a prominent aircraft leasing company.

Allegations of malpractice and governance issues have been reported to the Prime Minister’s Office. This controversy may bring more turbulence for the embattled airline.
