China is a Key Driver of the Global Economy

At the celebration of the 74th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, Ambassador Zhu Liying expressed gratitude for Mauritius’ strong governmental and parliamentary ties with China.

He praised those contributing to the cooperative relationship between the nations and acknowledged Mauritius’ impressive 8% post-COVID-19 growth.

Highlighting China’s projected 5% growth, Zhu affirmed its pivotal role in the global economy, constituting 30%.

He emphasised China’s resilience, citing innovation, reform, and openness as key principles, alongside an unwavering commitment to quality.
