Air Mauritius CEO and CFO Investigation Nearing Conclusion Amid Shareholder Concerns

The Board of directors at Air Mauritius is expediting its inquiry into Krešimir Kučko, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Jean Laval Ah Chip, the Chief Finance Officer (CFO), who were suspended last Friday.

The investigation, led by a prominent accounting and auditing firm, is said to be progressing rapidly, and findings are expected to be presented to the Board by the end of the month. Meanwhile, small shareholders of Air Mauritius are seeking clarifications from the airline chairman, Marday Venketasamy, expressing concern over the negative impact of recent events on the airline’s reputation and stakeholder interests.

They have called for a transparent approach to governance, accountability, and leadership within the company. The shareholders also request an urgent meeting with the chairman.
