Mauritius Central Bank calls for Expression of Interest for cloud-based infrastructure

The Bank of Mauritius has invited Expression of Interest” (EOI) for a cloud-based infrastructure in order to establish its project for a “fintech innovation hub and digital lab”.

The project will comprise the supply, installation, implementation, customisation, testing, training, and support services for the cloud-based infrastructure.

Through the fintech innovation hub and a digital lab, the BoM intends to “foster innovation and the use of emerging technologies to facilitate the provision of banking and payment solutions and other related services”.

It also wants to provide “a testing environment for fintech to develop, test, prototype and operate products or services.”

The deadline to submit the EOI is 12 May 2023.
