Sun Resorts: New General Managers at Long Beach and Sugar Beach

Christian Jaquier, 44, is the new General Manager of Sun Resorts’ 5* Long Beach Hotel effective as from July 1 2022. He succeeds Jean-Marc Ma-Poon who now takes the management of Sugar Beach.

Holder of a BSc in Management Information Systems and General Management (Marketing & Operations) and with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Christian Jaquier is a has led international luxury five-star hotel operations.

A Swiss-Chinese, he started his career as Conference Services Assistant at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Lake Oconee, USA and climbed up the ladder to occupy various positions at Management level in guest relations, front office and housekeeping in multiple properties within The Ritz-Carlton.

Most recently, Christian Jaquier held the position of Hotel Manager at AYANA Resort and Spa in Bali, where he spent 7 years.
