MUA Group CEO resigns, to leave Mauritius

Bertrand Casteres, Group Chief Executive Officer of MUA, has resigned and will step down from his current position.

Casteres’ resignation will be effective by no later than September 30 2022, the company has announced. He will apparently be relocating abroad.

It added that the recruitment of a new Group Chief Executive Officer has been initiated.

Bertrand Casteres was appointed CEO in 2015. He is the Chairman of the MUA subsidiaries in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda and is a director of the MUA subsidiary in Rwanda.
