Vivo Energy and Indian Oil allowed to sell premium grade fuel

Vivo Energy Mauritius Ltd (VEML) and Indian Oil (Mauritius) Ltd (IOML) have just been authorised to sell a premium grade fuel known as V-Power Q1 and XTRAPREMIUM-100 respectively.

Both VEML and IOML are expected to use the fuel imported by the State Trading Corporation and transform it using their respective additives.

The additives are expected to improve engine life and efficiency while being simultaneously environment- friendly with a much-reduced tailpipe emission.
