Central Bank invites bids for buyback of 0.72% two-year treasury notes

The Bank of Mauritius is inviting bids for the Buyback of 0.72% Two-Year Benchmark Government of Mauritius Treasury Notes maturing on 12 June 2022.

The Buyback, which will be for a nominal amount of Rs500 million will be carried out through a reverse auction to be held on Wednesday 16 February 2022 for settlement on Monday 21 February 2022.

In a public notice issued on 12 February, the Central Bank said it will accept bids from holders of the above-mentioned security for this reverse auction on the same day, i.e. Wednesday 16 February 2022, on a clean price basis (excluding accrued interest) quoted to three decimal places in multiples of Rs100,000, on buyback tender forms which are obtainable on its website.

Bidders may submit, for their own account up to a maximum of five bids, one for each bid price.
