Eric Ng’s Pluriconseil appointed as Consultant to EDB

The Economic Development Board (EDB) has reportedly enlisted the services of Pluriconseil as consultant.

Pluriconseil’s Eric Ng has often been quite critical to the economic and fiscal strategies of the current Government.

As consultant of the State-owned EDB, Ng will be required to coordinate the economic commissions that will soon be set up as part of the public-private dialogue, a platform launched two weeks ago by the Minister of Finance, Renganaden Padayachy, l’Express reported.

It added that these commissions, announced in the 2021-2022 Budget, will focus on trade and business facilitation, export development, investment, sector development and financial services.
