Ex-MSM Secretary General to launch political party

Former Foreign Affairs Minister Nando Bodha has announced that he will launch his political party on July 23.

Bodha has been a long-serving member and ex-secretary general of the MSM ruling party. He resigned as Minister and MSM member on February 6, on claims that the MSM had drifted away from its original principles.

He is currently an independent Member of Parliament.

Citing a press release from Bodha, Defi Media reported that the party will be the vehicle that will help in the implementation of a major social project.

“The situation in the country was extremely serious with unhealthy governance and issues that jeopardize our future. Things have got even worse. After much thought, I presented a project to give a new mission to my political engagement . I have also worked to rally opposition forces around this project, responding to a strong demand in the country,” he said.
