The Court of Investigation into the wreck of the MV Wakashio on July 25, 2020 continues to bring its lot of “shocking revelations”, according to Le Mauricien.

It cited trade unionist Jean Yves Chavrimootoo as revealing several documents “demonstrating that the Mauritius Ports Authority gave false information to justify the non-participation of its tugboats in the rescue operation.”

MPA Chairman Ramalingum Maistry resigned two weeks for reasons that are yet to be explained.
