CWA Chairman Maneswar Peetumber Resigns, Citing Professional Reasons
The Chairman of the Central Water Authority (CWA), Maneswar Peetumber, has resigned from his post, the utility body confirmed on Wednesday, 20 May.
Mr Peetumber, who served in a part-time capacity, stepped down after citing professional reasons for his sudden departure.
The outgoing chairman had been appointed to the role in February 2025, following a formal decision taken by the Council of Ministers on 14 February 2025.
