SBI (Mauritius) Ltd, a subsidiary of the State Bank of India with a 97.6% stake, commemorated Bank Day with a lavish celebration.

Somnath Adhya, the Managing Director & CEO of the bank, highlighted the institution’s remarkable journey and achievements. 

SBI is present in 30 countries. In Mauritius, it operates 13 retail branches and a dedicated Global Business Branch, including one in Rodrigues Island. It employs some 230 people.

Somnath Adhya said the bank plans to invest in digital banking and upgrade facilities to enhance customer convenience.
