Protocol amending Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement with Jersey

The Cabinet has given the green light for the signing of a Protocol that modifies the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) between the Governments of the Republic of Mauritius and Jersey.

The DTAA was initially signed on March 3rd, 2017 and became effective on December 19th, 2018.

The aim of the Protocol is to make changes to the DTAA to meet the minimum guidelines for Base Erosion and Profit Shifting set by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
