Women’s Leadership and Board Diversity at Global Conference

The Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD) and its Women Directors Forum participated in the Women Legacy Programme – Global Immersion Conference, focusing on women’s roles in boards and entrepreneurship.

The event showcased MIoD’s commitment to empowering women and promoting diversity in boardrooms.

It was part of an immersion for International Women’s Forum members in Africa.

The discussion highlighted the journey of women to boards, emphasizing challenges and achievements.

Currently, 35% of MIoD’s members are women, with many benefiting from support in their path to leadership roles.

MIoD advocates for gender diversity, foreseeing a future where leadership skills surpass gender considerations.
