MP Salim Abbas Mamode Appointed Member of Public Accounts Committee

Port Louis MP Salim Abbas Mamode has been appointed as a member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) following approval from the Committee of Selection, led by National Assembly Speaker Soorojdev Phokeer.

Mamode replaces former Parliamentary Private Secretary Rajanah Dhaliah, who resigned from both PAC and PPS positions two weeks earlier.

The PAC, chaired by Reza Uteem of the MMM, consists of nine members, with five from the majority and four from the opposition.
