The Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) has set up the Digital Transformation Initiatives Scheme which caters for digital transformation initiatives in enterprises, to be financed from the National Training Fund.
This scheme is open to all enterprises which contribute the training levy and is for a duration of one year, starting from 01 March 2022 to 28 February 2023.
The financial incentives available under this scheme are based on the training levy contributed by the enterprise in the previous financial year and are as follows:

From Rs 100,001 to Rs 1,000,000
7% of annual levy contribution
From Rs 1,000,001 to Rs 2,000,000
6% of annual levy contribution
From Rs 2,000,001 and above
5% of annual levy contribution
Eligibility criteria for the Scheme
The DTI Scheme will be available to enterprises which contribute the training levy.
The Scheme will only cater for financing of Digital Transformation Initiatives as per the Digital Transformation Plan approved by the HRDC.
The Scheme will not cater for purchase of computer/laptops/ IT hardware, etc., renewal of software licenses and yearly maintenance service charge for hardware.
