Bangladesh Foreign Secretary on island to promote trade and investment

Bangladesh and Mauritius will collaborate on potential areas to boost trade and investment to elevate bilateral ties.

Such was the undertaking by Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen after paying a courtesy call to his Mauritian counterpart Haymandoyal Dillum.

During his two-visit to Mauritius (13-15 Feb), the Bangladesh Foreign Secretary reportedly discussed opportunities in the pharmaceutical, tourism and IT sectors.

Other topics namely fishing and aquaculture were also at the fore of discussions.

On Monday, the foreign secretary along with his entourage visited Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Street in the heart of Plaine verte in Port Louis.
