Mauritius tops the list of ‘Most prosperous African countries’

Despite the prevailing decline in general economic activity in Mauritius, the island has somehow made it to the list of top 10 most prosperous African countries out of the 14 countries listed.

This was revealed by the Legatum Prosperity Index.

Mauritius is followed by the Seychelles and Cape Verde.
