Equal Opportunities Tribunal Welcomes 3 New Officials after Swearing-In Ceremony

Diya Beesoondoyal has been officially appointed as the new President of the Equal Opportunities Tribunal, spearheading a fresh leadership lineup at the anti-discrimination body.

Beesoondoyal took the oath of office on Monday, 25 May, at the State House, swearing in alongside two newly appointed tribunal members, Dalida Noëlla Malecaut and Mohamad Iqbal Mohamedhosen.

The appointments mark a complete renewal of the tribunal’s core composition.

The three new officials officially assumed their roles after swearing their oaths directly before the President of the Republic, Dharam Gokhool.
