AEGLE Cancer Hospital Partners with Apollo Hospitals

The AEGLE Cancer Hospital has partnered with India’s Apollo Hospitals group to provide Mauritian patients direct access to specialised oncology treatments.

This collaboration aims to offer advanced care without the need for overseas travel.

A team of specialists visited Mauritius, focusing on urogenital and pediatric cancers for both new patients and post-treatment follow-ups.

Dr. Teenushka Issarsing, CEO of AEGLE Cancer Hospital, lauded the partnership for expanding treatment options and providing top-tier care in familiar surroundings.

Additionally, a scientific session highlighted the significance of proton beam therapy, and Dr. Goutham Gandham discussed PARP inhibitors as a targeted cancer therapy.
