Saudi King, Crown Prince congratulate Mauritius on Independence Day

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has sent a cable of congratulations to President Prithvirajsing Roopun of Mauritius on the anniversary of Mauritius’ Independence Day.

According to the Saudi Gazette, King Salman wished the President Roopun “good health and happiness and the government and people of Mauritius steady progress and prosperity.”

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, has also sent a similar cable of congratulations to President Roopun on the occasion.

In his cable, the Crown Prince congratulated the president and wished the people of Mauritius “steady progress and prosperity.”

Qatar’s Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani also reportedly sent his congratulations to Mauritius.
